some fish i caught!heres a nice roach i caught yesterday,about a pound,i fished for 2 hours and bagged 26lb of them ,the best being 2lb in weight! all on sweetcorn,using a home crafted porcupine quill float.

A nice bag Fish, are there many good sized perch about these days. Going back some years ago i loved to take a perch to eat once in a while, very good eating.

where i fish there is perch about 2lb,rare to catch most of which are about 1lb! like you say good eating!

small perch on toast grilled with basil wrap was a loverly treat when mom was a alive. brought back childhood memoeries she said of her n her father catching them n cooking them afore they came home to grannies steamed cabbage n bacon
