Some notes about using this forumWelcome to The Potting Shed forum. Below we have detailed some information about the use of this forum. Please visit the FAQ page for more information.Welcoming Please welcome new members to The Potting Shed. Help new members learn how to find information and to use the forum. Your courtesy will pay off by attracting new members who may have knowledge to share, which will add to the quality of our forum. Courtesy Personal attacks on other members will not be tolerated, this includes but is not limited to flaming or insults. We welcome debate and discussion, but do so respectfully and thoughtfully without insult and personal attack. The moderators will remove any posts deemed to be offensive or inflammatory and the author of such a post will receive a PM explaining the reason for it's removal. Any poster who has received more than two such notifications will have their membership of the forum rescinded and will receive an explanation why. Security Think before you post personal information. Remember this is a public forum, we hope that our members are genuine but we cannot guarantee this. We encourage you to keep personal information personal. Do not ask for personal information from others. Information that should be considered personal includes but is not limited to your home phone number, address, name, and age. If you must give this out for any reason, please do so privately and at your own risk. Be Appropriate There may be places where explicit, obscene or vulgar language, graphics or behavior is appropriate, however The Potting Shed is not one of them. Posts that contain explicit, obscene or vulgar language will be removed. Moderators will decide what is offensive. Spam Do not place your advertisement numerous times throughout the Forum. Members may advertise their business in The Boutique section and include a link to their website in their profile signature. Advertising throughout the forum sections will be considered SPAM and could result in the loss of your membership. Private Messaging The purpose of private messaging is to allow for discreet conversations to take place between members. Please don't abuse this privilege. Solicitation, spamming, or harassment of any kind is strictly forbidden. Any member receiving an inappropriate private message should forward that message to an Administrator or Moderator right away. Although private messages are normally only accessible by those who send and receive them, they are part of the database and as such, property of The Potting Shed. An Administrator, if so inclined, could locate the Private Messages in the database and read them. They are private, but not necessarily secret. In addition, Private Messages are not intended to deprive the forum of valuable information or experiences which could benefit the entire group. Please do not use private messages if the content of the message can be helpful to others. If you receive any unwanted private messages from a member please contact an Administrator or Moderator. clicking on the link of the opening page 'View posts since last post' it can be seen on the right hand side of the page near the top
