Ooooo SL, I didn't know you could do that, they are lovely. My favourite is the second one, I don't know the painting terms but the light is clever and so peaceful.

Thank you so much for posting them J, the first one is narrowboat painted Buckby can, it's a folk art of the bargemen, very traditional and i used to do craft fairs with it and sell a lot. The second is a watercolour from a photo of The river Frome at Wareham Dorset ,where i took scouts and an instuctor in sailing for Somerset, they used to sail to France on two boats which was owned by Somerset council. The third is Mousehole in Cornwall from a photo. The photos are taken with a flash, so not so good. (something to better myself at.) Ps. the can is painted in ordinary houshold paints like dulux gloss, this was the traditional way of doing them, i stick to tradition and only use the 'right' paints and the 'right ' colours.

Oh SL those are so beautiful. I love the boats in particular - it's a very peaceful painting.

Thats quite a range of talent SL! I adore paintings of reflections on water and the colours you ussed in the bargewear are great!
