Stain removal?Any tips for getting stains out of coloured clothes?
Things like:
tomato sauce (pasta, not ketchup - I'm a mucky pup!)
blood (T cut himself shaving)
and of course, baby poo.
Can't use any bleach products are none of the items in question are white.

A good soak in a bucket of napisan used to do us, although you would have to check the bleach content. There are non bleach boosters about though.
I usually squirt washing up liquid on bolognaise stains and that gets it out fine, in a normal wash.
With blood you need to soak said item in cold water first, not hot, otherwise you set the stain.

ooh - washing up liquid, forgot about that. it's already been through one wash. I wonder if it'll work the second time around. Either that or I'll have to save that for J to sleep in (he ends up some days with more of my dinner down him than his own, but there are days when he gets me back!)
I'm a bit wearing of using nappy san on coloured clothes - I have a bleach-free eco one, but even that takes the colour out of his muslins when it removes the stains.
oops - I must've set the blood. Will remember next time (I don't think T will ever learn to shave properly!)
