Steamy bathrooms

Today I noticed, where the heating has gone on, and towels are drying on radiators that the wall paper is lifting. This gave me an idea.

Today, check your bathrom, the main one in the house. Is all the paper stuck down, if not use some pva or craft glue and get it stuck.

Dry towels somewhere else, that can be more ventilated. I will hang mine on the airer now, in front of the aga, and when the log burner is finally fitted in, over night in front of that.

Take out everything that is loose in there. Toys, flannels, soap, everything. Are there empty bottles that look nice, but have long been empty. If you really want to keep them then fill with something else, and actually use them.
Polish the windowsill, wipe the top of the skirting, and clean the loo roll holder and towel rail.
Soak the toilet brush in a drop of bleach, if it isn't too bad, or otherwise treat yourself to a new one. They are not expensive.
Hoover the carpet, or wipe the floor.
Clean the sink, bath, shower and loo. A quick wipe over will do.
Then only put in there what is really needed, and put away the rest. Make sure there is enough loo roll and a clean towel.
This should take no longer than about an hour, even with small repairs, and can be done in small incriments of 1/4 or 1/2 an hour.

Fishy mate, I hope you've been hit over the head with an empty wine bottle. If I said that, I'd be in the hospital now!! Laughing Laughing
