Stinking thievesJust as Lloyd was locking up last night he spotted two blokes hanging around outside checking out no.1 son's car.
Luckily they saw him and scarpered.
Can't help wondering if they would have stolen it if they hadn't been seen.

probably
but they didn't and they now know you are keeping an eye on it so it will probably be ok
not that it will make you feel any better about it of course.....

Cheap thieving scumbag b!"£$%rds.
Sorry but this carries on from a day at work coping with nasty disrespectful teenagers who think the world owes them a living.
Am going for a restful soak in the bath before bed now

I think it's fair to say we have created a monster.

We need a bl**dy great world war, a holocaust, to bring things back to rights, IMHO.

just be extra vigilant as they might come back.
we looked after a house and the police rang us and said that the alarm had gone off so went down to the house reset every thing twenty mintes after we had left the alarm had gone again this time the police gave us a escort as what they do is set the alarms off then people normally turn the alarm off for the night re set it for the morning.and then they come back an rob the place with out the alarm.
if they do come back dont confrount them a car isnt worth getting harmed for and if you harm them the police will have you up in court so fast your feet wont touch the ground..
british law dont you just love it .

You can't be serious? Personnaly I couldn't wish that on anyone. Thats not nice.

I agree Becki - how on earth would that help?
Dictionary definition of holocaust:
| Quote: | | any mass slaughter or reckless destruction of life |
Quite apart from the WW2 connotations of the word, wishing for that is just plain wrong.

But the World is so overpopulated. We no longer have the space or resources for all, but the population just keeps growing exponentially. As a result ethics and morality break down at the same rate that the population increases. If we had some natural disaster of Biblical proportions then mankind could start again and try and get it right next time.

But a war is not a natural disaster is it? Would you be prepared to be killed then?
I agree with your over population point, thats undeniable but a War or a Natural disaster? I wouldn't wish either on anyone. Whatever the answer is thats not it.

In the Old Testament God did it all the time. Noah's flood?........Plagues and pestilences.....Wars................The Tower of Babel.............
Some would say it's the natural order, expand and collapse over and over again.
The World has an infinite capacity to heal itself over time, Humanity does not. In the long term we will not have the ability to continue expanding and times will become hard. It's unavoidable and inevitable that society will ultimately break down, much as we don't like to imagine how it will be.

I'm not saying God didn't do all those things lloyd, just that I hope they don't happen and that I wouldn't wish them on anyone. I for one don't particullaly want to die right now, and I wouldn't want my loved ones to either. These people who would die are all someones loved ones.

I can see where lloyd is coming from, but like the rest of you, war is not the answer, because some pl***er would press a button and that would be it. To much like that film where the whole world is contaminated by radiation Alistair McClean I think 'Beach' with the submarine that goes between Australia and Greenland, any how everyone is given the means to kill themselves instaed of suffering, dreadfully depressing but makes you think how awful it could be.
Giving my age away here, how many of you remember a series called 'Survivors' way back in the 70's I think. When the world was aupposedly hit by a plague. I must admit it wouldn't surprise me if something like that happened one day.
Morbid aren't I!
