Sunday 13th September

Afternoon, sorry I wasn't about yesterday but we had a brilliant Family History Research day.

Hubbies grandfather, was supposidly born raised and educated in Ireland but yesterday with some help from Rootschat (forum) we found the whole family in and around Portsmouth. it was brill!!!

Today we have been pottering but I get fed up because I can't do as much as I actually want too  Sad
Cabbagepatch

Sorry been awol for a few days; we decided to head for the hills in desperate search of a little bit of light relief.  Haven't been able to do much as we both managed to put our backs out  Rolling Eyes  I can only walk looking  as though I've done something unmentionable in my knickers  Shocked  Laughing

Work tomorrow although really don't feel up to it; funeral is on Thursday so feel in a state of limbo right now.

Must give myself a bit of a shake and try to do something!  If nothing else, catch up with everyone here and brew more tea.
nanny-now and forever

hello all

brilliant weather here again, don't know how we deserve this lot for the next week but it is supposed to stay more or less like this for at least another 4 days...hurrah!!!

spent most of it outside however we had 6 sets of visitors so it wasm ostly spent taking people round the farm on tours.....very tiring...

as the groom is on holiday we have someone in to take her place, good friends of the trust and a pleasure to have them about so they spent today getting to grips with feed lists and trying to remember which horse is which

tomorrow we should be off but mr nanny is going to stick around to make sure they are ok with everything as a group of coleg students are starting tomorrow...

managed ot cut some of the front grass as well which has made that look better just in front of the house

telly for me tonight, casualty and waking the dead

very jolly
