Sunday 27th September

Morning all, another nice one. E has gone riding with Coco and Greenlady so all is quiet here. I'm on my 3rd cup of redbush, living dangerously for a Sunday.  Laughing

No plans other than make some spelt bread. Have a good Sunday everyone.  Smile

Nice and sunny but with a chill in the air here today.  Sort of tied to the house as it's Christmas Pudding steaming day here - it's in until 7pm  Confused

Shocked  Shocked  blimey!!!

K has gone now  Sad  it has been a hectic weekend and to be honest she looks awful. I don't think she has been eating well as her gas oven and grill have been playing up, so we have organised someone to go round and look at it for her!! You would imagine it was the land lords responsibility but he doesn't own the cooker and neither does the other tenant  Rolling Eyes

Anyway I think we got lots done for her. Very Happy

hello all

awol yesterday again, mainly because i didn't switch on

had a lovely day, went out with mr nanny to trim some horses and then did some shopping on the way home, just a pleasant escape day

today was as well really.....

such a lovely morning that turned a bit grey but i used it wisely, diggin out the flower bed i started in march  Embarassed ...it has taken me all this time to get to it again.....but this way i knbow where the weeds are i suppose....i did half of it, ther must be half a mountain in rocks and i dug up what i think must have been a marble larder shelf...2 pieces but only about the size of an A4 sheet of paper and a sculpted bit that attaches to it some how...maybe i will find some more, it would be nice to replace it back in the house somehow if i can though it would need polishing...

i don't mind digging the garden when i find things like that

Nice find, Nansters. Hope you find the missing pieces, so it can be restored.

I'm just rounding off the weekend smoking eggs, pine nuts, olive oil and cheddar for the larder.
Libby

smoking eggs??? that sounds interesting Lloyd!
lloyd

Not tried it before, but whilst my "bible" on smoking states to smoke in shell from raw, a mate has tried smoking them hard boiled and out of the shell, so I'm trying the latter tonight. Another hour or so to go.....................
morlan75

Mmmmm smoked "Balut" Lloyd now ya talking lol!!!

Nice Avatar BTW Love It!!!  Laughing

They are unegg-citing to be frank, just hard boiled eggs and smoky. Might be nicer in an egg mayo.
Kathy
