I found this place, their prices for bead mixes don't seem too bad by comparison to ebay

http://www.epbeads.co.uk/index.asp

If anyone orders from them please let us know if you'd recommend them.

I'll check with my sister, she uses Ebay shops for most of her bead supplies.

Becki I bought everything off ebay. I don't have a book, just did what I liked althought I'm sure a book would give lots more ideas. Making a beaded bookmark might be nice as a May forum project, that would give everyone who is interested time to buy the bits they need. I'll start a new thread.

I haven't heard of them but their site looks nice, it looks like you can order beads individually rather than in packs which is nice.

that made me laugh because J has been pretending my beads are ice-cream and she's been offering everyone a spoon full of "ice-cream" today much to S's annoyance!

I have recieved my order from www.epbeads.co.uk

They were very good. A item was missing but they have promised to send it off today and I am very impressed with the quality.

I did get some bits from ebay but I am a little dissapointed because the pictures seem a little different to what I recieved.

I am going to start on the bookmark soon and I am also going to try bracelets.

Thanks for posting the info Becki - and the links. I too am a bit disappointed with my ebay order - they always seem to look better or a bit different. Probably my imagination and not the seller!

Those 2 companies havn't worked out much more than ebay and I will use them rather than e bay in the future. I tend to get too annoyed when I get outbid and end up bidding more than I should. I'm too competitive!

I have to say that Jules is great. We're still looking for clip on earrings and Jules has found some but they are not of a high enough quality. Now that's what I like, she could easily knock out some cheap tat, but she knows that hobby and small businesses come to her so she won't.

decisions, decisions. I think I'm just going to have to buy a mix of colours because I can't decide. So it's the EP site.... oh I hate making choices. I'm still scared of Ebay!

I didn't go mad. Just a little concerned that we have to shift an amount not short of the value of the house to get back into profit.
