Do we need a theme if it's a present swap, or could it be a "Handmade" swap?

Same here Becki. 
I'm not very good at suggesting themes, what about a maximum amount to spend, whether on materials or a gift.
I should also say that once you have your list of people, it can make it very difficult to include latecomers. It caused all sorts of complications for the one I did, nearly lost the plot altogether! Anyway, I would suggest that you don't do this, for the sake of your sanity.

And if you're sending to someone overseas write on teh parcel what thecontents are, or they will be confiscated as some were when CP and I did the last one before Pilsbury's seed swap.
