Thought I would be daring and start a post!!  Shocked

Just to let you know that I have sown some now!!   Cool   I know most will sow early next year ... but they can be sown now, (they will overwinter in the coldframe) ... anyway I have decided to do both!! Very Happy

I love sweetpeas, but have never ever, ever, planted them at this time of year as I rarely have room in the greenhouse  Rolling Eyes

Last time we planted sweet peas in the autumn there was a huge gale on Boxing Day which blew the greenhouse - and the sweetpeas - all over Northumberland!  We have a rather more sturdy greenhouse now, so maybe we'll give it another go.

I love sweet peas too, although I can't remember any particular varieties (we just go for the ones that say they smell the sweetest).  We had them on the table at our wedding breakfast  Very Happy

Some of the nicest I think are the traditional Spencer frilled.  AND ... this morning I was looking at the Tuckers Seed Catalogue and they have an offer on the back page for 100 seeds for £1.50  Razz  Razz  Razz
