apparently it has been proved that magpies ( a member of the crow family) can actually count up to double figures
don't know why i know that piece of information but i do

crows drop nuts onto a busy road, waits for vehicles to crush them, then flies down and eats them.
have developed the idea further and now drop them onto pedestrian crossings, wait for the green light, gobble up the nut and avoid getting crushed themselves!!!

once saw a dog with no owner walk up to a zebra crossing and sit down the cars stopped both ways and the dog walked across the road
