Put all the clothes that are clean and hanging about (on the floor in my bedroom) away.
If you are perfect and don't suffer from this predicament then set your timer, and do 15 minutes de cluttering in a cupboard somewhere.

i always put my clothes away
mr nanny does not so just when i think i haven't got may clothes in the basket this week, he fills it

It is the clean clothes I am bad with. I put them around the rooms, and we just live off the pile again, until it gets too bad!

My dear friend Mary's late mother had a wonder saying which I often quote to myself: "Don't put it down, put it away." Good Yorkshire sense spoken there. Having said that, it hasn't filtered down to the rest of the family!

I tend to stick to that adage BB, but mostly because our house is so tiny I can't leave piles of things lying around because we'd be tripping over them all the time.
I got into the habit of always putting away the clean laundry when we had cats - there's nothing like inadvertantly drying your face on a furry towel to remind you that cats like nothing better than a warm, clean, fragrant pile of washing to sleep on

I have done nearly all mine, the kids stuff is put away, just mine to deal with now

Ive tidied in my room but Im guilty of piling the ironed clothes in the girls rooms rather than putting them away.

That is just what I do. Some of it stems from doing the ironing in the evening, then I don't want to disturb the children putting it away, so I creep in and put it on the side.
