Thursday 19th April.

Quite a quic one today.

Starting at one side of the kitchen, pull anything on the counters away and wipe down with a clean cloth, wet from hot soapy water.

Do not clear it all off in one hit, just work round a bit at a time, replacing the appliances as you go.

Don't say they are already done, as they could easily e done every day! There are always bread crumbs, and (heaven forbid) pet hairs, so rather than protest, get on and wipe down.

If you are working in the office today, then wipe off your desk in a similar position, and file or ditch 27 bits of paper from your desk!

Becki

*groan moan protest moan groan*

It's J's birthday can I have the day off?

*beg beg*
alison

No you can't, he will be at nursery for 6 hours, I am sure you can find 5 minutes to wipe down your kitchen counters!
Jellycat

I'll do this when I get home although, apart from the kettle and teapot, there aren't any appliances on the worktops...

And on my desk, there's a telephone, a cup of tea, a calendar, a monitor, a pen pot, a box of tissues and a desk lamp. Not a single piece of paper!! This is because I'm a touch obsessive about my workspace and cannot concentrate if it's messy - unlike some of the boys in the office Rolling Eyes
Becki

don't tell her that or she'll be telling you to do theirs! Rolling Eyes
alison

Oh no, don't do theirs, jus lead by example.!

You can still wipe it over though, get rid of those nasty germs that linger in offices!

Sometimes I do ... it drives them nuts Laughing

I always warn them first though...

Anyway, I shouldn't be here, I should be decontaminating my desk... Wink
Becki

I'm doing as I'm told coz she's scarey and I live near her! Wink Laughing
kaz

I'll do it tonight when I get home - it's around the toaster and health grill that need doing the most Sad That survey that's come out today proving that men and women do equal work IS RUBBISH Mad
Cabbagepatch

Cleared out one of my desk drawers today, got lots of files shredded! Very Happy
alison

Keep the shredding for chicken bedding!
Cabbagepatch

I do........and they eat it Rolling Eyes
kaz

Cabbagepatch
