Thursday 22nd october

good morning all,
have been working loads, so haven`t been on much,  I phoned my daughter who lives in spain yesterday, as it was her birthday, and she said her partner, had been out hunting with his friend on sunday, they hunt rabbits in the mountains, and then went to the same friends funeral 2 days later, the poor man had hung himself.
I have quite a busy time ahead, its Thomas`s 17th birthday on sunday, so we are going out for a meal on saturday night, and then on sunday, we are doing something completely different, we are going to a Only Fools and Horses convention ! we`ve never been to anything like this before.
Then in a couple of weeks, we are going to see Paul Potts in concert, he used to work in our local Tescos !
then about 3 days after seeing hime we are going to see Status Quo in concert !!!!!!   I`ve wanted to see them since I was 16  Very Happy
and I`ve also booked tickets to see The Bootleg Beatles for 4th December, has anyone else seen them ? they are supposed to be the best Beatles tribute band in the world..
so as you can see, I have lots planned, and I also have our works christmas party on Nov 21st !
I`m only workin 10 till 2 today, so a nice early finish
   have a good day everyone

Morning all  Very Happy

RWR, I went to see Status Quo when I was 13 (which was many, many years ago....) - it was the first proper gig I'd been to.  Great fun, even if a bit cheesy  Laughing

It's wet here again - not as bad as yesterday but still rather damp.  Our house is just one big mud fest at the moment (thanks dogs Rolling Eyes ).  I'm going to have to do something about that as soon as it's dry for half a day!

Good luck with the specialist Libby - hopefully you'll never have to clap eyes on him again  Laughing

Have a great day everyone  Very Happy

So now I suppose I will have to do housework!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello everyone, oooooooooooo housework! its a rotten job, maybe you could do a little bit then do something lovely Very Happy

I really hope things are beginning to settle down a wee bit here, work and teenagers have been rather time consuming  Confused

Yoohoo Potties, I have been a bad CP and not posted the last few days. Shame on me!

Been very busy with work, trying to get the lottie up together this autumn as we got seriously behind earlier in the year and all the usual "stuff" needs daily attention.  I was so frazzled yesterday, I kept bumping into myself coming back the other way.

Anyway this evening I am absolutely and resolutely sitting down beside  the fire at 8pm to watch Masterchef final.  We don't stare at the square box in the corner much but have succumbed to this programme.  We fall about laughing and ask ourselves just how much the costermonger gets paid for announcing "only five minutes left" at the top of his voice  Rolling Eyes  Laughing

Just spent ages typing here and it dissappeared.....

Hubby and eldest are at dinghy race meetings both seemed very happy as they left.

nanny-now and forever

hello all

gosh rwr you are on the hoof a bit aren't you but it seems like you are enjoying it all....

very busy up here today and rather sad for some

took archie home first, he has been here for fat camp for weveral weeks as you know but it was time for his return....no problems there....

then we went over near llanybydder to deliver star....took us ages to get there, almost needed a passport i reckon but we found it in the end...star was to join another of our ponies to be a companion to an elderly horse but when we got there we found that the elderly horse had had to be put down this morning...the owners were distraught and were beside themselves when we got there....the vet had done the deed in the stable and rigor mortis had set in so it can't be removed till tomorrow anyway and they wnted some advice as to how the man was going to remove the body and it was all awful...so very sad

but they kept star who trotted off down the field with ivy so at least there was some good news for the people....i felt awful for them
Becki

Thats awful Nanny, when a vet had to put a horse down next door, they had to dismantle the stable to get her out, so sad.
