Tuesday 22nd Sept

Better night last night!

I'm behind on housework  Sad  ironing  Sad  Sad  Sad  I really need to clean out the greenhouse, fumigate which I have never done before, so will use good old Jeyes and a jet wash, before bubblewrapping ready for overwintering my tropicals!
Not sure it will all get done today as my stupid knee keeps locking  Rolling Eyes  I'm not a hypochondriac, honest!!!
Lizzie

Morning all  Very Happy

Be careful of your knee Libby - it's not that long since the operation...

Well, Penny has been left at the vets for her endoscopy.  She's is NOT a happy bunny, largely I think because she's starting to feel better so this morning, she actually wanted her food, which hasn't happened for ages.  Of course, she couldn't have any, on account of needing an anaesthetic today, so she wasn't speaking to me to start with, and now I've abandoned her in the Place of Nasty Smells...she's going to hate me when she wakes up!

And Millie's not best pleased about being left on her own - this hardly ever happens either, so I hope she's OK too.

And it looks like it's going to be closer to the end of this week before we find out what's happening at work....

On the plus side, the sun is shining, we had a good long walk this morning and I have a nice piece of coding to do that I can really get my teeth into, which should take my mind off the hounds!

Have a great day everyone  Very Happy

Morning all, sun's out again.  Very Happy

Poor Penny, hopefully she'll bounce back quickly after being abandoned!

Libby, echo Lizzie, look after that knee.

Laundry, knitting and clearing some of the garden up for me today.

Have a good day everyone.  Smile

Hi

Can't remember if I tol;d you but Sainsburys had a float in Barnstaple carnival and I was the back end of a cow. Well we won our section so everyone was really pleased.
E is off sick today and I think M probably will be tomorrow. Very high temperature.

Hope everyone has a good day x
nanny-now and forever

becki, don't forget the back end of the cow is the productive end....

lizzie the tension must be very wearing....and i hope penny is ok

so much for fine weather, we returned to the standard welsh drizzle all day today

but at least i didn't feel guilty about staying in to do some trust work and some other research i am doing at the moment....that took me till lunch after which we all went and did a bit of this and that, riding archie was the main thing, his loanee returned from europe a couple of days early so she came up to see her 4 animals that have been lodging here.  by the time that was all finished it was 3 and time to do all the afternoon things, i walked the dogs etc and the weather was so unpleasant we all retired to the house earlier than normal...

gets dark much earlier now, only 7.30 and it's as black as the devil's nutting bag out there as my mother would say

never having seen the devil's nutting bag i couldn't possibly say whether it is or isn't...
Kathy
