Tuesday 3rd April

One more for the kitchen, then another room on Wednesday.

Todays challenge is to do all your nick nacks. Do you have any thing on the walls, on shelves, windowsills. Give them all a wash over with soapy water (if transfers won't come off), and wipe the shelves etc.

I'd be at it all bl**dy day! Not a minimalist, me . . . I do do my jugs on the beams though, when I can't see the pattern for dust - does that count?!

tbh, I have quite a lot of things around, but I may do them over a few day, along with the next days challenges.

I bet they look lovely when they are all clean though Cool Wink

I did this on Sunday, although pretty much everything on the shelves in my kitchen are practical - there's not really enough space for frivol!

On the downside my kitchen is too small for nicknacks - just a window ledge (small) and two plate racks - so will do those and clean the oven shelves before they get yukky.

Cabbage did this last night but I've scrubbed down all the units today. (In between painting and DIY) Rolling Eyes

Confused Believe me, SL....I'm absolutely sick of it and can't wait to start my new job a week today!

I've fixed a repair on the hearth today, made bread, painted four doors, got tea out of the freezer, the other stuff I mentioned above, and still a long list left, groan!......staggers away......

90% of my knick knacks are still packed in boxes

all i have are a couple of jugs hanging up on the hooks in the ceiling and one or two other things

in a way it is a very liberating thing

we have had to go a bit minimalist as the house is too small.......
