Tuesday 3rd November

Morning all  Very Happy

Brrrrr - it's cold and wet and wintry here this morning, and VERY muddy in the fields.  We now have 4 Aberdeen Angus bulls in the field directly in front of our house!  I'm going to have to ask the landlord to switch the electric fence on because our garden fence isn't particularly robust and I don't really want the garden full of bulls  Laughing

This is my penultimate day at the office  Very Happy  Very Happy  Very Happy

Have a great day everyone  Very Happy

Snap Lizzie! I'll move my post over.  Laughing

Morning, brrrrrrrr, rather chilly, still not put the heating on though! Making do with coal fire and old stove in back room this winter. There are frequent shouts of "SHUT THE B****Y DOOR." Anyone who grew up without central heating will remember that the warmest spot is right beside the fire and leaving the door open creates lots of angst!  Laughing

Nothing planned for today, might brush Rosie (major job) she's looking a bit straggly.

Have a good day everyone.  Smile

rain, rain, and more rain here at the mo!

Need to finish the housework I started yesterday, the house is beginning to look nice again and is likely to stay tidy now everyone is at work.

Then some excercise and maybe some crafting this afternoon!!
nanny-now and forever

hi all

rain here to and a bit on the chilly side....

our groom returned today after her illness, still looks a bit pale but at least she has survived and is back after nearly a month

plenty of volunteers today so i absented myself for the day and got on with some things i have been looking to do for a while

mincemeat all potted up at last

made leek and spud soup for dinner

made apple pie

made home made custard

cleaned out the deep fryer

did assorted animal things

at least it is all done now....tomorrow looks like a day on this monster as i am going to have to write something for the british spotted pony society's newsletter, they e-mailed yesterday....also i think i am going to have to pretend to bve mr nanny and help him with the questions for the young supporters group that he was supposed to be doing and hasn't got to...he couldn't do it today as he ended up fetching hay and feed and all kinds of stuff (he is supposed to be on hoilday) and tomorrow he has to take an animal to the vet for nerve blocks and joint checks....that will be his day filled i fear...

all in all, today was not bad, tomorrow looks like it could be more fraught...
