Hmmm - I think I can guess which one you'll go for Libby I'm looking forward to having choices like that!
It's raining here too, although it didn't start until after I got back in with the dogs, so that's good.
I have to organise a quick visit to a friend this week as she's on holiday next week and has asked me to look after her hens I've never done that before, so I'm hoping it's not too complicated!
Have a great day everyone

Im back, things have been busy here but last night was last school sailing sesson so that makes my life a bit less complicated.
We have the art auction tomorrow and the excitment levels are rising, we know that Jenny Aggiter's husband has put sealed bids in on 4 of the children's paintings of £50 on each so just my luck its going to cost £51 to by their panitings....
I'm going to college tonight part three of my city and guild in gardening, wildlife gardening this time.

Back again! You might remember my last post, on Saturday, where I mentioned it was "blowin a hooli?" Well, it blew such a hooli that 5mns after I posted 2 massive trees came down, right through the 8ft garden wall, flattened my runner beans and peas, missed the oil tank by a hair and snapped the telephone cable on it's way down.
BT have just left having done a temporary repair, back tomorrow to finish off.
The good news is, we now have a supply of wood for the winter.
Thanks for the good wishes for Greenlady Lizzie, she got away yesterday with red rimmed eyes and should be arriving in Singapore soon for the last leg of her journey to Aussie.
I spent my computer free days cleaning, dung picking and such like. Sunday was spent cooking for the going away family meal. A great success, even Father (who pickles his own oxes tongues and eats tripe) said if all vegetarian food was like that he'd be tempted! I don't like crowds so kept myself busy "through the back" seeing to the animals. My family know what I'm like so just left me to it, just the occasional shout "YOU OK DOWN THERE KATHY?", made them feel as if I was participating!
Need to go and catch up with emails and Facebook, my plants will all be withered now...................

Blimey Kathy - lucky no-one was hurt. Every cloud has a silver lining though - at least you'll be cosy this winter!

ah well kathy, 'tis an ill wind as they say...luckily no one was hurt AND you rediscovered what people did before computers...a result i would say
we missed the worst of the weather i am pleased to say but we had drizzly horrible rain all day today
we hade a good volunteer in so i was able to go do my own thing...we spent a long time into an early lunch discussing various things about the trust....memorial garden and all kinds of things and then i disappeared upstairs and finished a chapter...my creative ideas are flowing again so i make good use of the opportunities
the one thing we didn't do was load the truck for tomorrow but it was raining so hard that it would all have got wet anyway and we don't have to be there till just before lunch tomorrow so we have time...
