How have you all been getting on, listing all the documents?
Mine are going slowly and surely.
We are going back into the kitchen. Seeing as we did some of these fairly recently, they shouldn't take too long, unless you missed them last time!
First off, fill the sink with hot soapy water, and a cap of bleach and leave it for an hour. While you have bleachy water, take the opportunity to wipe down all the counters, and your table.
I did this yesterday, and did each counter, by laying 4 dishcloths, soaked in the water, out, and leaving them for a while. All those tea/ coffee stains went, without me moving the cloths at all.
Use your washing up brush to swish round the draining board too.
Once is it stain free, drain, and with a dry cloth buff it up, so it sparkles.

So did I, and now my OH is decorating, there are paintbrush marks and flecks of paint, where he has prepared the ceiling and painted it!
Not really complaining though, it only took a minute to clean back up again.

Major panic when I was sorting documents - OH's passport not where it usually was until he realised that it is till in the boot of the car after coming back from America - MEN!
All the car documents (4 cars hile we are still looking after the kids cars) are together - log books, MOT, insurance with all the past insurances shredded.
I haven't copied anything yet though or checked which cards I've got on my CPP policy........
