I'm looking for some retro material for my own textiles project. I've put an ad on my loacal free-cycle but just wondered if anybody here had any extra material that I could have for free or cheaply.

Well it can be anything, nice colourful, eyecatching. Cool flowers or circles etc.

when you say retro, are you talking any particular decade?

The best place for that Martin are charity shops - have a good rummage around or ask if you don't see a basket full of material off cuts.

Look on the rails too - the 'retro' bright things will surely catch your eye - and everything costs pennies literally so much cheaper than paying postage.
