wednesday 17th september

good morning all,
please can someone tell me how to teach the dog that its wrong to chase the kitten !    she wont let her come into the front room, but she`s fine with her anywhere else.
I was supposed to have a day off today, but now I`m working 10 till 2, which is quite an easy shift, as the cleaning doesn`t start till 2   Very Happy  Very Happy

Morning all and another nice day.  Very Happy
Curtain making and knitting for me today, along with the usual dog walking and tidying.

Have a good day.  Smile

RWR, I can't offer any advice I'm afraid - we had cats before we had dogs and the cats were In Charge from the first!  I guess reward the dog when she does the right thing and exclude her when she does the wrong thing?

Kathy, I'm not a great sew-er but I love making curtains - there's some so satisfying about all those loooooong seams.  Or maybe I'm just a bit odd!

Apparently we'll hear tomorrow about the fate of our company/redundancies etc., so that'll be nice - not.  Some people in the office are behaving in an appalling way - storming off after the meeting last night and then two have gone on the sick - hardly the most helpful way to go on.  Hey ho - we'll soon know...

Have a great day everyone  Very Happy

I came home yesterday to find my 10yr old had totally tidied the front room, without me even asking. I'm so proud of her Very Happy

Ive done an hour in the school garden, made me feel good anyway. Weve got a secret art auction happening at school soon so meetings for that and then gardening club tonight.

Hope to do a little knitting in a minute, not much time for much else.

Hope it goes ok Lizzie, it doesn't help people acting badly your all in the same boat after all. Keep strong.

i would be very suspicious becki and wonder what she had done.....

shot to bits again today

it was the annual visit of the equine dentist and there were 10 animals to do and some to check for other things....surprise of the day:  the mare we thought was in foal is not....it had been hanging on and on so we got the vet to check her over and lo and behold, she isn't pregnant...after all this time...

anyway we moved on from there (swiftly) and got started on the horses once the dentist managed to get his gear sorted, the process took all day in the end, he never left till gone 3...in the middle wehad students from the coleg here for their wednesday riding lesson so mr nanny abstracted himself to help with that, the finance lady came as well so all in all it was a very busy day....

tomorrow it is just mr nanny and myself so we should have a bit of a breather....
Becki

She never does anything nanny, apart from argue and wind up her sister, she's as good as gold Very Happy
