Wednesday 7th October

Blimey it was warm last night!!! This makes life very difficult for me and my tropicals, as it would be too warm in the greenhouse for them at the mo! They would just keep growing!!!!!

Rained heavily yesterday so very pleased I got my onions in!

I'm carless again today, could do with getting some veg, theres a farm veg shop not that far but too far for me at the mo  Crying or Very sad

Morning all  Very Happy

It's a gorgeous morning here - when I was walking the dogs we had moonlight on one side and sunrise on the other - shadows in both directions!  Now it's sunny and chilly - there was even some frost on the grass down the lane  Shocked

Stuck at my desk for the day again today - I'm counting the days  Laughing

Have a great day everyone  Very Happy

just been checking my bank accounts online and worryingly the huge monthly shop I had delivered 22nd September from Asda has not gone through my account, I thought I was rich!!! Apparently it has taken up to 3 months for this sort of payment to go through and I have to leave the money in ther e(without spending it) just in case  Shocked

It's lovely here so I'm not going to linger online, I got so much more done whe I was cut off!
Libby, I hate it when that happens, especially when there's DDs coing off at the same time. It's not the first time I've had charges because of that.  Rolling Eyes

Greenlady just phoned, arrived safely but a bit tired, it's hot there she says. Evil or Very Mad Laughing

More dung picking today, laundry to do, dogs to walk etc, have a good day everyone.   Smile

Brecon has had the vet visit today, he's got some kind of bug that has been doing the rounds and is coughing alot. It's not as bad as I thought (with Mother telling me, well he is old dear) and it's just taking it's time to clear up. I have now got a bottle of Ventipulmin which costs £70 to open his airways up.
It wasn't vital that he had it but I had to have it for him Rolling Eyes
nanny-now and forever

pretty dcold up here i have to say, very grey and autumnal....

most of the day was sorted out for us at this schools pet awareness thing that we took two of the ponies to.....i felt sorry for the organisers as it wasn't particularly well attended but there were round about 100 children which is enough to be getting on with...zorro and cquirt were as well behaved as ever of course...they take things in their stride...

the children were divided into 4 groups and when they got to us we did a 20 minute or so talk about how you have to look after the pony in such and such a way and how much time it takes and of course the vets bills etc...really we aim to put the kids off wanting one....that way there are less unwanted animals around...

whether that angle works or not i don't know ....got home about 4 so that was the whole day gone again.....

don't realise how long things take till you have to do them...
