Hello, nice of you to pop in. It's a good day for coming to our shed, the sun is shining and people are in and out of it all day.

I hope you have a 'poke' around to see if there is anything that interests you - you are sure to find lots to do.

Off out again for a while.

Enjoy your stay

Hello, welcome from me Very Happy

Thank you for your kind welcome. I'm going to like it here. Very Happy

I'm about to move to my dream house in the country where I can indulge myself growing my own fruit and veg and maybe keep some chickens. I have lots of crafty hobbies but at the moment I like to knit. I love cooking and baking and will have an Aga in my new kitchen. So I'm hoping someone will be able to give me some tips!

I'm off to have a good look round now.

n, thanks. I'll have a hob nob please!

Thanks mrsnesbitt

We move in 5 weeks Shocked to a gorgeous house with 1.25 acres of land next to a moor. The house has an original 1930s greenhouse/conservatory with a 70 yo vine. There is scope for loads of fruit and veg growing (at the moment I'm just dabbling!) and room for (hopefully) some chickens although DH is not convinced.

I'm looking for lots of inspiration/advice once we're there, so finding this place is wonderful! (thanks n)

I'm off to check your blog now Very Happy

I was serious, come and meet the chickens and "view" the eglu. We got ours this time last year. They lay an egg a day each in the summer, slightly less in the winter (it's light dependent), and cost next to nothing to keep. You need a friendly neighbour for when you go on holiday, my neighbour is lovely and is happy with the fresh eggs when we are away.
Bring an eggbox Very Happy
We don't have a ranch, just a biggish domestic garden, and two dogs.

n, try placing a lamp within the eglu to keep the egg production up Wink

n, I might just take you up on your offer once we've moved and get settled Very Happy
