What have you got on the go right now?

I'm in a wine-making phase, and have got 1 1/2 demijohns of blackcurrant; 2 demijohns of gooseberry; 1 1/2 demijohns of plum all started and bubbling away nicely. It's like an alchemists' in that corner of the kitchen (bay window, to take advantage of any natural heat when the sun occasionally appears).

We've got two gallons of strawberry and a gallon of gorse flower (which is VERY yellow)!

Plum wine sounds luvverly, but I thought it was difficult to get it to clear?

Yep Turbo cider
supermarket apple juice+ yeast you can add honey or sugar to up the alcohol content. If you use beer yeast you get sweet cider at about 5% Laughing or if you use wine yeast you can get dry cider at about 8%

Sloe vodka on the go now and if there is time this weekend I would quite like having a go at hedgerow wine. Oh yes, we were given masses of apples yesterday so wondering what to do with them!
Kathy

You could make scrumpy, I did some a couple of years ago, very nice it was too!
Old Lob

Seems to be lots of people doing turbo cider!
I've a gallon fermenting well.
A gallon of pineapple wine and bottled this year, mead, red grape mead and apple wine.
Libby

I love cider, especially cold in the summer, but have never tried the turbo cider whats it like in comparison?

The pineapple sounds disgusting but I believe mead is very nice Very Happy
