What is you proudest achivementOk goes with the proud of not achieving thread but what are you proud if doing, anything you like,
For me one of the most amazing things was to acheive my gold Duke of Edinburgh award at the same time as my brother who is 20 months older, one of the points that makes it important to me is you can only take 1 person per candidate plus 1 group leader to the palace to meet the Duke and get the award so because we went to the same ceremony both our Mum and Dad that had supportrd us both so much through the years both financialy and by driving us to the lake district, the broads, infact anywhere we needed to go as well as running training groups, could come with us and no one had to stay at home.
ours was presented by Colin Jackson but we also met Frank Bruno

oooo, being part of the commonwealth opening games ceremony in Manchester a few years ago was pretty awesome.
Very proud of my lottie, and also plastering a couple of walls in my living room and my dove tailed jewelry box that I made.

A bit like you Pilsbury, but the day I achieved my Queen's Guide ranks as a high.
I am still really proud of that fact, and use different skills on a daily basis even today.

I did the Gold Duke of Edinburgh's award, but couldn't go to the ceremony because my mum was ill. Ceremonies aren't really my thing though, but I went to my graduation one because my mum would have wanted me to.
I should probably be most proud of getting my Masters degree, but actually, right now, I'm really proud of the ceiling I plastered!
I know that is probably a bit silly, but I just love having so many bits of our house that we did ourselves: without that, it would have cost so much more, and we wouldn't have been able to do everything the way we wanted it.

I was pretty pleased about how the pub ride went this year. I was far more relaxed and actually enjoyed it. I think I've achieved something!

1. Having my 3 beautiful, loving (at the moment) children
2. Giving birth to 2 of them without pain relief and to all 3 whilst staying completely calm (I could be a scientologist if I believed in aliens!)
3. Setting up my business with no capital, it is small, but not in debt.
4. Surviving a nearly fatal illness 2 days after having my daughter 18 months ago - I had strep A, blood poisoning, 2 big operations and tubes out of my neck and arms, 15 minute obs for 2 weeks, scans & x-rays and every anti-biotic known to man. AND I didn't complain once!
Sometimes I do wish that I had qualifications to be proud of, but then that would be judging myself by someone elses standards.

repairing the fencing the other day was an achievement for me as i did it without mr nanny's help

Oh goodness the trouble is, events happen that make me happy, sad, proud etc etc. And then the next instalment comes along and takes over.
So easy to get caught up in everyday life and overlook/forget the really important things.
My biggest sense of achievement has to be bringing up two children solo and seeing them grow into wonderfully mature and loving adults.
I am very proud of them and their fortitude

It might be making a poly tunnel out of Bamboo but then again that might be my biggist failure! Seriously though apart from my kids who have to be the best thing I have done is getting to live in Zante before I am too old to enjoy it.

Apart from producing three well-balanced (!) and wonderful kids, I think the highlight of my life has to be when my dissertation gained an Upper First, and was joint winner of the Royal Archaeological Institute bi-ennial Dissertation prize in 2000 . . . and travelling up to London for the presentation of my cheque.
