I used to like so many in the 80's 
I loved Sharpe, and The Scarlett Pimpernel mini series. There are so many I like but I don't think they are great. Waking the Dead was good, I love a murder mystery. And the Period ones too.

Rab C Nesbitt never fails to make me laugh, I'm addicted to Time Team and any historical/archeaological documentaries, love Sharpe and even dear old Lovejoy (bit dated now though), and have just discovered Morse (managed to miss ALL first time round - don't know how I did that!)

Those are just the programs I love as well  also dare I say I flick channels when Big Brother is on just to see whats going on,but have never voted

i used to watch Neighbours years ago,and there was a girl in it who was going to die(as they do) all my friends watched it as well and we were all waiting for the day when it happend,i sat down with my hanky ready for a good cry and...........my telly packed up.........iv never watched it since.  (i tell no lie)

I agree love it, don't you think the men are a bit poor this time,what I saw of the women they looked good
Not sure what Torchwood is either think it's a science fiction series.
