Who would you

Most like to have dinner with? Living or dead and what would you eat? Would you go out? Where would you go? or would you cook?

I know this question has done the rounds but I thought it might be interesting. Smile

I'm thinking.......... Laughing

A split second after Colin Firth in his wet shirt came into my head, I thought Florence Nightingale.

No idea where that came from, only that as a child I was always fascinated by her.

I've thought of someone.

My Dad. I would love to have dinner with him again. And it would be Fish and Chips. He used to put me on the back of his moped and drive me to the Fish and Chip shop to get dinner. Mum would only ever let him take me to Trowbridge, but one day he had to get some work stuff in Bath and he made me promise not to tell her. I never did Laughing

I change my mind about this one a lot but at the moment I'd like to have a big pot luck supper with the regular Potting Shed members. A wide range of subjects to chat about, home made wine and food to suit everyone's taste, great stuff. Very Happy

hhhmmm.....colin firth......

i have met him several times and he is quite a nice man.....but not totally as he is portrayed in his films....lol...

when i lived in Winchester, ( about 10ish years ago ) i used to work for Mencap, and was a warden in a hostel. many many times he would appear in the garden of it, looking for his cat.......lol.....he had a house at the back of the hostel and his cat used to take great delight in visiting us all......so he would jump over the fence and collect him......
some of the residence didn't realise who he was, but the female staff would go weak at the knees the first time he appeared........fofl.......and if he had time, ( and the weather was nice ) he would sit in the gardens with a cuppa for half an hour chatting to all of us....

very charming man.
