wi fitell me more...thinking about getting it when we hopefully move. what do i need? i think my laptop is wi fi ready - it occassionally says "wireless network detected" (think the neighbours have it). is it reliable? |

if WI-FI is wireless network then its fine and easy to use. We have 'Netgear' you just have to make sure its secure, so just follow the instructions. |

Check out the ISP providers for your new area, some are better than others.
Lots of comparison sites on the net, this is a good site. http://www.uswitch.com/broadband/broadband-isps/ Whatever you do don't go with Talk Talk no matter what they promise you! Most providers will give you the equipment needed, some charge extra some don't and some charge for installation so check all these things out. Another thing to check is whether you are tied to a 12/18mth contract or if it's a monthly one. Good luck! |
