Wood pigeon uses.Been a while since i posted anything here due to lack of interest from participants. Any way am at home today with some mystery bug and feeling like pants. When i should be out there earning a living picking wild food for my wild food box scheme.
Back to woodies.........i have been experimenting with several cures for pigeon breasts and think i have come up with a winner.
Any one else tried curing breasts.........?

The reason i want to is to create another product for market. I have succseeded as well. By experimenting with various dry cure mixes i have come up with an ideal mix suitable for wood pigeon.
Useful for me when out running forays as i can carry a suitable amount of cured pigeon which when cut into strips is a great added flavour with wild fungi, marsh samphire and wild green dishes for depth and added protein. Weighs almost nothing as well.
Will be adding it to my wild food boxes also.
