it's been the perfect day for sitting around at home waiting for people not to bother to turn up.

If only someone would invent a communications device that would mean they could talk to people over long distances and inform them they had changed their plans.

FIVE viewings booked and not a single one has turned up. Or even bothered to call.

Oh dear!!! I really don't know what to say.
This is the biggest problem with being the seller as the 'customer' is always right.
When we sold our flat in Surbiton many, many moons ago, one woman came round three time with about 6 different people in tow and they always went into the bathroom and shut the door and spent ages in there???!!! She wanted to come again and I said yes if she came with just one person but no if she had a hoard with her, we never saw her again???? We only had a tiny flat and how six people fitted in the bathroom I still don't know Laughing  Laughing

Oh dear Aqui, I've never been in your position but honestly, you'd think people would be a bit nicer, would they like it if it happened to them.  Evil or Very Mad

i have been in your posistion and i sympathise

it is just plain rude
but not quite as rude as seeing the people draw up in front of the house (it's obvious who they are) and then watch them drive away

that is really irritating

chin up old thing, it doesn't last forever, you just think it does.......

Make the agent work for their money.

Get them to follow up each non shower, and find out why they didn't turn up, and get them to re book.

Make the agent do the showing round, get them to take some responsibility.  They will try harder, if they are waiting at the house for a no show a few times in one day.

Were they "real" potentials, or were they just names in the book, who they made appointments for you, to show you how god they were. (yes id does happen) which is why I suggest getting agent to show round.
