I'm slowly building up my new business, what does everyone think of me putting my business website in my signature strip? So, every time someone reads one of my posts, they will hear my cry "look at my business".

If I join loads of forums and do it in all of them, then my marketplace will increase.
Does everyone think this is a good idea or is it taking advantage and exploiting the sites I visit?

So long as the busniess is not in direct conflict with the ethos of the forums you are posting in i cant see it being a problem.

Most people do this Lloyd, it's a good way of advertising and most people like to hear of their forum friends being succesful in whatever venture they embark on.
What are you doing anyway, you've kept a bit quiet about it. (I'm not nosy) Laughing

Thanks, Leonnie, although I'm not sure it's the right marketplace for me. It's a local business, as in within a few miles of home. I do garden maintenance and design. I'm also hoping to obtain a firearm dealers' license, and then start internet and mail order guns and ammunition. That will be in the New Year though.
