I'm not nearly as organised as I'd like to be, but I'm slowly getting there. Some pressies are bought, some are half way to being made, some a made and I've made most of the cards.
Getting there.... |

I`m not ready yet, I`ve bought some cards, and will also make some.
I`ve bought most of the stocking fillers, but main pressies have to wait till my husband gets paid on the 8th.
I haven`t a clue what to get my parents , my mum is 78 and my dad is 81, does anyone have any ideas ?
I work in town, so once I have the money, I can shop in my lunch breaks. now, where did my husband put the wrapping paper !!!!

I love my family to pieces but it will just be the four of us this year and there is usually 14 so it will be very strange!!!!!
On the plus side, as it is the four of us I have spent one hell of alot of money on the meat, proper, cared for, organically grown/fed etc turkey, ham and pork!!!! It had better be worth it!!!!
Lyn can you not make some mincemeat, or chutney or something like that for your mum and dad???? _________________ My Blog: http://woodlandsworld.blogspot.com/ |

PANIC!!!!!!!!!!!
It's four weeks today. I have bought, so far, everything for T (he sent me a list - I just can't think anymore!) Still have to buy for mum (no ideas), dad (some ideas, which I may go with), sis (no ideas), gran (no ideas). And I really don't have much money this year. All I can think of is to give everyone soap and vouchers for baby cuddles (but the latter seems really stupid as they'll get those anyway!)
Food etc should be simple as there's only the two and a half of us to feed.
And still got to arrange when to see everyone, while leaving enough time in between to rest.
oh heck! |

2 more pressies to get, and because I went into panic mode when I had a bazaar, I probably have enough cards made too. Yippeeeeee! _________________ The Card Bee

I'm getting there, I've been having fun putting together lots of sewing bits and pieces for no. 1 daughter and Lloyd found a really nice sewing box on ebay last night. She keeps coming home to use mine!! Still need to make some pot pourri sachets, bath bags and hand cream. And I haven't made a single card yet
I have a fantastic idea for Lloyd as well |
