The first one took me straight back to summertime, splashing about, a picnic, the sun shining etc.

Thank you, happy days Very Happy

i think thats exactly what a picture should do,conect with others by being some where you know or could picture being there!
the day i did that one we cycled there in the blistering heat, with the smell of blackberries in the hedgerows, skylarks way up in the blue.when we got there it was like getting to the promissed land, the water was achingly cold at first!we splashed each other and the boys screeched.soon we had our first heat of pooh sticks, followed by sandwitches and ice cold home made ginger beer!
then a frantic search for the ultimate skimmer stone! then more pooh sticks. Very Happy

I used to dive off the bridge, as a teenager, into Weymouth harbour every year!! (at New Year, that is!)

My favourite bridge is somewhere in the Peak District, and marks the boundary between three counties, I think. I have always had an obsession with damming rivers, and usually given half a day, I'd be able to make a noticeable rise somewhere Laughing

Then as you said Fish, there's the search for skimmers, great fun Very Happy
