| I'm doing marmalade today, farm shop has them for sale at 35p per kilo which I thought was a good price. I'll be using the delia smith recipe for seville marmalade. |

My plans were delayed somewhat by a tiling project in the kitchen. But today I finally got around to making that marmalade. The kitchen smells lovely now, all citrusy There are 5 and a half jars in all, I used the Delia Smith Seville Orange recipe.

Oh they look VERY professional.
I've never made marmalade but have been told it's pretty fiddly! |

Didn't find it fiddly at all S and J did all the squeezing whilst I did the slicing of the peel. We don't like too much peel in our marmalade so I used about half of what was recommended, saved on a lot of peel slicing that way too |

I've only made marmalade once, as a pressie for a friend. No-one likes marmalade in our house, so no point in making it, which is just as well as the chopping of peel into minute strips took FOREVER. I'll stick to my jams and jellies : ) _________________ http://codlinsandcream.blogspot.com/ |
