One of my old water butts had split, so I needed to re-arrange the ones I have left. We currently have 7 with room for a further 2.
3.5 are empty  Rolling Eyes
Weeded a flower bed.... not the best idea for my back but it had to be done.
Pics on my blog if you would like to see.
Today I'm in the greenhouse  Very Happy

Yesterday I spent the morning in the greenhouse, potting on the tomatoes, mine are behind, because I was away looking after mum when they should have been planted, but they soon catch up.
I've planted some more peas and french beans and sweetcorn. Pricked out my Coleus (good for my jungle bed)
The brocolli has come up in the beds as has the carrots, no sign of parsnips though  Confused

Cleared up the back wall for the tomatoes (well, Mr Kathy did)

Put the chooks into the kitchen garden to clear up the slug and snail infestation. They've got themselves buried in the soil in the old greenhouse!  Rolling Eyes

Have started hardening off sweet pea, calendula and nastursiam (started off on the window sill in our old house).

Potted on the strawberries, we've only got a few to grow in pots this year till we get the ground sorted out.

Planted the Yarrow, St John's Wort and Lady's Mantle which we started from seed in 2007.

Dug all the soil out of the greenhouse and planted out the chrysanths that were in there. More path cleaning and bed clearing plus removal of rubbish like bits of broken glass and old wire netting.

Hedges trimmed and greenhouse sorted out. There are a couple of panes of glass missing but we'll sort that out at the end of the season. It's much better than having no glass, which was the case at my last house!  Rolling Eyes

Next job is to start clearing the piles of raked up rubbish, that's my job. Mr Kathy clears things up, I get to take it away!

We've got water sorted out now, it was a long process watering with 2 watering cans. The pressure is fantastic, such a treat after the sad trickle we had to put up with in our old place, (can you tell I like it here!)  Laughing
