One of the honeysuckles here is scrambling up one of the trees, it must be 20ft high in places, with long tendrils trailing down, covered in beautiful flowers. A sight to behold.

Ooh, forgot about violas, gorgeous little faces. And I spotted a peony in full bloom this afternoon, hidden away and I had forgotten it was there. A bit showy and blowsy really, but beautiful all the same.

OOh dear, waxing lyrical again, I'll be quiet now shall I?Embarassed Embarassed Laughing

SLC, for short and it is legal and it is a truly stunning orchid about 5 inches across and a vivid magenta colour.

Gosh I have so many its hard to know where to start. I guess snowdrops and daffs because they herald the warmer days and they cheer me up so much after the bleak welsh winter. I love good 'doers' if you know what I mean. Something which does very very well with minimum input like Lavatera.......flowers its heart out from April to October. Dahlias because they last well into the autumn but I think that my real favourites are fuschias love the little dancing ladies with their blowsy skirts.

I think I love geraniums the most.

I love the heady smell, when you go into the greenhouse and there are some in there, and they last all summer with their pretty flowers.
