I made elderflower wine last year and cracked open a bottle when my friend came to visit a year later. Altho it was very clear and I was quite pleased being as it was my first ever wine, it was far too sweet. Probably nice as a tall drink with lemonade and ice but way too sickly on its own! _________________ B&B in beautiful Vendee, France

Most of ours was diluted before bottling with Chardonnay to remove the sweetness. Now getting enjoyed every evening as it still retains the unique flavour. Soon be time for elderberry!!
