Here is Danny, he's come on in leaps and bounds and Greenlady rode him on the estate road yesterday. Coco has been using Monty Roberts/Richard Maxwell teachings with him, 4 weeks ago you couldn't even catch him to get a head collar on.

and getting ready to introduce the bridle:

What a kind and intelligent eye he has. Good luck with him - he looks a beautiful boy. Wonderful that Intelligent Horsemanship has won the day again too.

The two boys are having great fun mushing up the field in this rainy weather. Danny is very much a one person horse and gets quite nervous if strange people are around but he's doing well. We're not in any rush to get him going and just letting him take his time. I'm sure that he's been ridden before and has had a major setback somewhere along the line, he's a lovely boy and is great fun to work with, very intelligent. And we looked at a wee Shetland last night for E. He's a barrel called Toby and is a very kind gentle boy, E had a ride around the field and kept wanting to go faster... When can we gallop, when can we jump, can i go to lots of shows? Naturally I encouraged her Wink So hopefully he will be here at the weekend. I will post more pics soon

It's lovely to hear that you are getting on so well with Danny and I am sure you will overcome his problems with time. Is he with you on loan, or just for re-educating? I'm sure he will be delighted to have Toby for company (wonder who will be the boss?!)
