Lovely poem Kathy.

I have my eldest daughter at Uni, and now my middle one is going in less than 2 weeks' time, and I will be left in an all male household. They are the two fussy eaters too . . . I shall be lost without my girlies around, but think what I will save with the ironing pile!

Hope that you don't feel too lost Kaz, but think of the freedom!

I think that children need to go away to uni, or live away from parents for a while, It teaches them so much about life, managing money etc. Don't get me wrong, I love my boys to bits, cried buckets after we left Alex in Cardiff for uni. Tom decided to move out and share with a mate, in the same area as us, not quite such a big leap!
Alex has moved from Cardiff to Swansea, with his girlfriend, and Tom has moved home to save some money.
They both have turned into responsible, practical men!
What are all your people reading? Alex did Archaeology and Medievil History, not much good for job seeking, but very interesting!

My eldest is reading Archaeology at Sheffield and my middle daughter will be reading Human Sciences (Anthropology) at Durham. My degree as a mature student was in Archaeology, so it seems to have rubbed off on them.

Kathryn is off tomorrow for the start of her 2nd year!! She has been so brilliant as she put off going back to drive me up to my aunties funeral!! I think I shall find it just as hard, but at least I now 'know' she will be fine!!

Gosh BB - it's a small world!

My eldest nephew is at Sheffield (doing Linguisitics) and my youngest stepson is about to start at Durham doing Biological Anthropology.....
