Inspired by Fish's Autumn, What is your favourite time of year and why?
Mine has to be summer because of the light days and sunshine. (If we get any) Sunshine always lifts my spirits _________________ The Card Bee

Spring, because the evenings start lengthening after the inevitably long and wet winter _________________ http://www.pennycottage.co.uk

Autumn, because it is so colourful and somehow it brings excitement and the anticipation of winter, festive season, comfort food, cosy evenings staying in at home. I love the weather too, crisp mornings with blue skies and I enjoy those windy autumn days. I love walking at this time of the year, the kids and I enjoy finding and collecting the "treasures" that have fallen from the trees (seed pods, acorn "hats", colourful leaves etc.) |

I love the autumn too, and for the same reasons as the rest of you. It is such an atmospheric time of year. Having said that, as I get older, it is spring which I find so uplifting. After a long - inevitably WET - winter, I am always so glad to see the first tiny stirrings of life along the hedgerows in January, and take great pleasure in the first spring flowers and leaves on the trees. My favourite month of all is May - it is just SO beautiful with the Welsh woodland carpeted with bluebells, and the hedgerows a riot of Red Campion, white Stitchwort, Bluebells, Cow Parsley and locally we are very fortunate to have masses of wild Columbine starring the lanes. _________________ http://codlinsandcream.blogspot.com/ |

I love spring because of watching all the new growth in the garden and the days getting longer and warmer.
And I love summer because of long hot lazy summer days.
And I love autumn because of the crisp days and the wonderful colours.
And I love winter for snuggling up in cosy jumpers and drinking tea.
Can't decide! _________________ Aqui, T and Baby Jack!

Summer, I like the heat, followed by Autumn because of the colours and the berries. |
