| How big is your garden and what do you have growing in it? I have a very small garden compared to the one in Kent, but i am trying to make the most of it, by planting lots of Bushes and plants around the outside, and leaving a little space for a small deck at the top with, i hope, a small pond, which i may not start till the spring now. I am waiting for the Bushes to grow so that they will attract the wildlife. |

no garden, just a small yard. I'm moving in a couple of weeks and that house also has a small yard. Hoping to build some big planters and bring some life to it once the building work is finished. Got a lottie tho ... its fab _________________ my blog: www.duckdinnerdash.blogspot.com |

Ours is about 25ft x 25ft. I've outgrown it now. There is no where left to plant anything!
We have a small wildlife pond, but it's days are numbered. Needs to go before next spring. A small veg patch (well weeds this year!) a big shed (too big really!) 4 compost bins, and lots of shrubs and herbacious perennials, including lots of Aquilegias.
It's a mess, even when I work it all summer, but I love it! _________________ Aqui, T and Baby Jack!

I've no idea how big ours is, but it's huge.
We have 2 greenhouses and a patch (allotment size) for growing things. There is a large shed and 3 patio areas. the kids have a trampoline and a swing set, and the chickens are down the bottom, by another brick shed. We don't have much growing right now, we havn't been here long, but it's a fantastic location, and I consider myself very lucky _________________ The Card Bee

I've no idea how big our garden is altogether but it's a bit 'bitty' - we have a 'back' garden just outside the door with four raised beds, a greenhouse and a 'terrace' of stone sheds (which are falling down...). Then there's a bit that goes round the side of the house, which is path and flower bed, then at the 'front' of the house, there's the main bit, which is a small lawn and lots of flower beds.
Outside the gate, there's a vegetable garden, which used to be part of the farmyard that our lovely landlord let us have in exchange for the odd basket of produce _________________ http://www.pennycottage.co.uk

My garden is in bits too, about an acre and a half. Out the coal shed door leads to the dogs bit and the firepit area, lots of trees and an in situ hammock. The main door, which is the back door has my tomatoes and gourds plus a half erected greenhouse. Out of the posh front door there is a large area to the side we are using for composting and opposite the front door are dahlia's, shrubs, all sorts really. You can see some of the garden in this thread:

and more before we moved in in this thread on page 2

What about some photos of your gardens? |
