I grow them inside and out Libby, outside ones just need a spray of Bordeaux mixture to prevent tomato/potato blight. It is reckoned to be organic. I do grow a lot of San Marzano and super Marmande for freezing as pasata or sauces. I bought a Pomodoro from seeds of Italy a marvelous tomato press that separates the pulp from the seeds and skins. Wink We didn't need to spray years ago as it wasn't soo prevelant but i thinl it's the warm wet summers. Wink  Laughing  Cool

It develops black patches on the foliage, then brownish blobs on the green toms and this spreads making them inedible. It's usually weather related, ie. warm damp weather. The only thing to do is clear them out, pick up all leaves etc. and burn. Resite your tomatoes next year to somewhere that hasn't grown them or potatoes. Wink

Well, we had exactly that this year on the greenhouse toms. Why resite?....spore drop?.......

Do I need to fumigate the greenhouse now with Sulphur or such like, SL?

Cheers mate.  Wink

wierdly my tomatoes seemed to grow out of the bit of blight they had.  I did think I'd lose them all at one point, but miraculously they pulled round.
