So how are you having your pancakes today?
I think we're having savoury ones this year - there's some leftover chicken that I need to use up so OH will be having chicken and mushroom filling in his and I think I'll have spicy aubergine and leek filling in mine.
My head would love a plateful of traditional lemon and sugar pancakes but my waistline sadly wouldn't _________________ http://www.pennycottage.co.uk
You can't have everything - where would you put it? |

For anyone worried about calorie laden pancakes we don't use any dairy in ours. Flour (we use gluten free for E), a bit of bicarb of soda, rice or soya milk and a teensie bit of oil (or non stick pan).Great with maple syrup/agave/lemon/orange/sugar free jam, no sugar needed. |

D had a big pancake for his breakfast this morning (a special request). Apart from that, OH has NEVER eaten one in all the nearly 30 years I've known him - he doesn't "do sweet" and definitely wouldn't consider a savoury one . . . _________________ http://codlinsandcream.blogspot.com/ |

I had my savoury ones really tasty, made with buckwheat and no dairy so I had 3. Too full for a sweet one, but there's always supper time! |
