Morning all  Very Happy

It's a lovely morning here, after yesterday's deluges, although the sky is rather grey to the south....

Today I'm at my desk but I need to go into town this morning as it's Farmer's Market day and I also need to do the office recycling.  I'm working this evening too, so it'll be home, iron shirt, eat something then back out again.  Hopefully we'll not be too busy tonight (like last night - I was home by 10.30  Smile ).

Have a great day everyone  Very Happy

Love your thread title Jellycat!

Hope you have a good day out Bovey, Mr Kathy and I quite often do those triangular routes!  Laughing

E's last day of term today, it's a half day finishing with an end of term closing circle so I'll go along for that. I'm bringing Dalien and wee Shanti over for a pony ride and giving them their dinner. Remember their Father Denny who died so suddenly, well the family have decided to go home and leave for the Czech on Sunday. She needs the support of her family and friends, although she's made friends here it's not the same.

I'm sitting here drinking tea and listening to Greenman playing the piano, most pleasant I must say. We got the piano from Freecycle and he'd never played the piano before but was just able to sit down and play it, lucky man!

Sun is shining so I think I'll get outside for a wee while before the school run, have a good day everyone.  Smile

JC - did you buy that present? what did you get?

BB - have a good outing - youo deserve it!

Kathy - wow - your kids are so tallented!

J's weird napping yesterday meant he didn't go to bed until nearly 11pm. I was wide awake with the sun streaming in at 5.30. I have a headache, although it seems to be going.

Nice out there now. rained and very windy last night.

it's a good job the estate agent hasn't got anyone to view our flat as it's such a tip again. how do rooms get messy when you don't even use them?

I did - it's something like this in shades of blue.

Now all I have to do is work out how to send it in the post without it getting crushed.....

Nice JC! Even I like those bags and I'm not a handbag girl!

Kathy - hang on - last day of term? Here it's not for another 4 weeks. When does she start again?

I must be feeling better. Just tidied the room of chaos (chore for yesterday) and tidied up a few other bits too.

Tis indeed Friday!!!

JC, you are leading me seriously astray with these lovely sites  Wink

Aqui, I know just what you mean, one minute a room looks clean and tidy, an hour or two later it looks like a disaster area again.

Not sure what this weekend has in store for us, I really want and need to do some gardening but my back is still too painful and the allotment is definitely out of bounds.  Sooooo frustrating.

god it's miserable weather here today

i think it hasn't  stopped raining now for about 24 hours

meant to do the deerskin but couldn't because parts of it haven't bucked because of the rocks that i put on it to hold it down in the solution so i have had to splonge i a bit and put it back.....what a poo

so that meant i had a day or so on my hands so got on with helping mr nanny with some 'pooter work to help him catch up...so many jobs and so little time really.....

after lunch i helped the groom write her report on yesterdays visit to the llanybydder horse sale........it is in our brief that we have to monitor the sales and yesterday was a bit unpleasant i think....the report goes to NEWC the national equine welfare committee who collates them to presu, mably eventually try to change the laws.....never an enjoyable place to be, i have been once or twice and try not to go.......

don't know what the weekend holds for us...depends on the weather to a certain extent of course .......just wish i could go out to play for a bit, therei s a lot ot do out there.......horse wise and other wise.....
