ooer, what can I say about today.

Well it has been very busy at work, but very interesting, lots of on the spot crisis decisions to make; yes I have to do that and I can for other people, just not for myself!!!  So far, the new job is great, very interesting and rewarding  Very Happy

Obviously I would rather be outside in the garden or something, but until I remember to start buying lottery tickets (never) I shall have to remain gainfully employed.

Saphie has been a very good girl today, home alone with just Toffee for the longest time ever and she only ate a table mat and half a houseplant.

Going out in a minute for a walk with them both, the creaky old back is still improving so looking forward to a bit of exercise  Very Happy

It has been a quiet day today, apart from my car failing the mot and the garage saying it isn't worth repairing the car, and I should think about another one.  I was hoping it would last another year, before I made that decision.

We have been doing all the new school stuff this week, and life has been a bit hectic.

Tomorrow is the official opening of the school extension, so I am going to that, as a governor, and also I am doing some of the food, so I may have a look at fillings tonight, once I have locked up.  I am on vol au vonts.

We lost a duck yesterday.  It went walkabout, and hasn't been found, remnants or clues either.

I am picking up the new uniforms tomorrow, so that should be interesting.

pony club again tomorrow, too, and hopefully it won't be raining this week, as there is no where to shelter.

Aqui, amazing how quickly they grow up.  Enjoy each moment.

Sorry to hear about your car Alison, such expensive beasts these days.

Nanny, someone was offering Bang and Olufsen speakers on our local freecycle, I though about your Merlin's biggest transgression and nearly asked for them so I could bring them down for Mr Nanny!  Laughing

Our Merlin is feeling better today and now trying to get at his stitches. Boy, was that vet rough with her stitching, she'd never make a seamstress that's for sure.

E and I spent a nice day mostly, she got her weaving started and we took the dogs out. Spot disappeared, then we heard him screaming, wondered what the hell was wrong when it all went quiet. He appeared out from the bushes looking most distressed and filthy wet from head to foot. God knows where he'd been trapped, stupid dog, gave us all heart failure.  Shocked

I've done some sewing and netted my strawbs, the birds are eyeing them up!

My eyes are going together now, bedtime for me.

Sleep well everyone.

Smile
