| The Expert books and Geoff Hamilton's organic gardening are the ones I always refer to when I need help. I like Delias kitchen garden and Monty Don's book for inspiration. |

Biggs and McVicar sound like gangsters.... and then you add Flowerdew and all's right with the world again!

Did you see GW on Friday?
There was a piece on Barnsdale, which is now run by his son and his (son's) wife. They entered a garden for GW Live, and won a Gold.
It was the first time they had done a garden and ten years since Geoff Hamilton died. I was so pleased for him. It was as if he was getting recognition for being himself, not "son of..."
Must be very odd for him because Geoff was an identical twin, so everytime he sees his uncle it will be a reminder of what his dad would have looked like if he had still been here. Very hard, I would think.
