us colonials used to refer to em as "the po" but i am familiar with the term gazunder pmsl but the best one was referring to the outside loo as the "thunder box" always made me chuckle but of course the correct welsh term for the lavvy at the bottom of the garden path was "TY BACH" pronounced tea ba ending with that sound we welsh make like a cat shifting a fur ball or clearing phlegm from your throat CCCCCHHHHHHH  Very Happy
And just as a point of interest my grandmother (mams garw) had a two seater and the plank was well sanded so no splinters we was dead posh  Very Happy

Sorry libbs but i seem to have taken this thread just slightly off topic  Embarassed but there ewe are thats just me being me  Very Happy  Embarassed
