I'm 34 with a few medical issues  Laughing but a major thing that disrupts my life literally is PMT (now fashionably known as PMS  Rolling Eyes )

I belive that I am somewhat in training for the change at the moment with some of the symptoms I am having but to help control my PMT I choose to go for a low Gluten high Iron diet when it's "that time of the month", it seems to help allot I've found (been watching my Gluten for years now when Im suffering) I've tried the Oil Of Evening Primrose seemed to help abit (until you forget to take them  Laughing) anyone else have any herbal or foody tips or tricks to help with problems like this? (excluding being locked in a cellar with no sharp objects for a week LOL!) Very Happy

I found this page helpful: http://www.thefooddoctor.com/Premenstrual-Syndrome-Ahealth_fdw_pms/

My PMT was awful before I got pregnant. Basically my body telling me to have a baby. Pregnancy and breastfeeding were the best cure for PMT ever!!!

I would try low gluten, but I need my bread!

The bit about:-

PMS-A = Anxiety
PMS-C = Cravings
PMS-D = Depression
PMS-H = Hydration
PM-DD = Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder

Shocked you can suffer them all can't you?  Laughing

If you can get hold of some Lady's mantle make an infusion of tea with it, it really does work. The other tip is to use spelt flour if you feel that gluten is a problem. Also, make sure you're getting all the trace minerals in your diet, (you might know this already) and the omegas, (in fish or, for veggies, in linseed). The locked room does work, with a cat or dog for company though!  Laughing
