O.K. so why doesn't it say in the recipe books:

"Don't try making your first ever batch of marmalade in the middle of a heatwave"

Well is didn't in mine but anyway M******** had a load of grapefruit in the cheapie bin yesterday so I just had to have a go...

Lovely rich colour
Peel is cooked nicely & is spread through the jar
A little runnier than I would like at the moment
(hoping it thickens a bit more when its a bit cooler)

But boy does it taste good!!!
& I think I'm half a stone lighter than I was this morning...
